Raising funds for Outpatient Surgical Services and the Endowment Fund

The Foundation’s 23rd Annual Beartooth Ball, one of the finest fundraisers in town, takes place Saturday, April 21st at Rock Creek Resort.  This year’s event will once again be a formal affair--although locals describe the attire as “Red Lodge Formal” where anything goes--from black tie to bolo tie.  There will be adventurous experience packages up for auction and Billings’ own musical group of doctors, Midlife Chryslers, will rock the canyon.  We’re excited to introduce Stephanie Anderson, RN and husband, Captain Nate Anderson, US Navy, as this year’s Ball Chairs; retired Governing Board Member Karen Neff and husband Dennis have graciously accepted the title of Honorary Ball Chairs.

The much anticipated spring soirée will serve up some new twists, according to Foundation Executive Director, Sara Urbanik.  “We want to focus on gathering our “family” together to count our many blessings, including our faithful benefactors and supporters,” she noted.  The evening kicks off at 5pm with a wine tasting in Twin Elk lodge, followed by a specially prepared menu served in the Crow Ballroom from Executive Chef Eric Trager.  Lively auctions and hip-shaking, hand-clapping live dance music conclude the evening.

Proceeds benefit Beartooth Billings Clinic Outpatient Surgical Services and the Foundation’s Endowment.  Beartooth Ball Sponsorships, which include a designated number of tickets based on financial commitment, begin at $350; a limited number of individual tickets are available at $100 each. This year, table seating is guaranteed for all ticket holders.

The Foundation hopes to raise $200,000 through sponsorships, tickets and auctions.  Those who can’t attend the Beartooth Ball, but would still like to be a part of this annual fundraising event, can make a tax deductible donation in any amount through a variety of ways; contact the Foundation at 406.446.0610 or email [email protected]
